But Clinton says she's innocent---and is lobbying for Evans to publicly apologize to her.

She was on CNN's "Showbiz Tonight" last night and she looked into the camera "at" Evans, asked her to please apologize, told her she still loves her and her husband and their kids, and I choked on a little air when she actually asked viewers to go to pleaseapologizesaraevans.com and try to get Evans to apologize.

It's really a web site, and while Clinton may be innocent (who knows with all this drama stuff), just the very URL sounds over the top.

"Clinton has said she will sign an affidavit disavowing the allegation, as well as take a lie detector test. Earlier today her attorney sent a tersely written letter to Evans’ lawyer, demanding a public retraction and laying the groundwork for a multi-million dollar lawsuit if an Evans’ retraction is not forthcoming."

While Sara's injustice likely means she will not be a part of their lives anymore, Alison and Chris know they will always have each other.

I gotta say, I had never even heard of Sara Evans until all of this happened.

There is a lot to this story and ALL partys seems anxious to play it out in the media.

"First up tonight we have the story that EVERYONE is talking about!!" *rolls eyes* (they did that with Matt LeBlanc's divorce...I loved "Friends", but never even knew he was freaking married!)

She hit the scene in the late '90s and her career really took off over the years, culminating in her winning the Academy of Country Music award for Female Vocalist of the Year last year. She's got some really good songs.

But apparently not a really good life right now.
