It includes alphabetical listings for shops, restaurants, promos, sponsors past and present, plus important info like the names on the Main Street windows, street names, attractions added per decade, parade lists, names of the Storybook Land Canal Boats, etc. The only problem I see (never having read the book): they could only fit one park inside. This looks like a must-have to me. I only hope there will be similar books coming for WDW. We've also had some discussion of it in a couple of DL General threads. What I haven't read is a thorough review by someone knowledgeable about park history. I'd be curious to know if anybody's spotted any glaring errors or omissions.

Return to the topic, take 2: I've skimmed through it and it looks pretty good. I'd hesitate to call it the ultimate reference to the park - I think it'd have to be about double the size it is for that! - but it seems to be pretty thorough. Keep a little space on your bookshelf after you buy this one, folks - Kevin Yee's mentioned that he's working on his own Disneyland encyclopedia, and this one's gonna be a two-volume job. I think he said it'll be a couple of years before it comes out, though.
