After a couple of weeks of testing, interviewing, and a couple of dicey days where I thought they weren't going to accept me as an applicant (my online application originally said I wasn't qualified after I hit submit, and the HR person wouldn't clarify why, so when I let my old super know, he said he'd look into it, and a couple of hours later, I had an email, asking me to set up an interview for the onsite testing), I got the call on Wednesday, offering me a position in the training class! I'm so thankful they're giving me a second chance to prove myself. I screwed up, and I know it, but they know I'm an excellent employee and are willing to give me another shot. I will not let them or myself down this time. Sometimes things work out oddly for a reason. I'm actually going to be earning a couple of bucks more an hour than I was before, and I'm not certain I would have gotten that big of a raise after I went through the training if I hadn't been fired. I'm not gonna knock it though, lol. Thank you, those of you who kept me in your thoughts back in January. I'm sorry I didn't express my gratitude more then, but I was in a very, very dark place. I wouldn't have made it out without my friends and family, especially my mom. They kept me grounded and kept me plugging away.
