Or forgo room discounts and purchase the package with the dining. However, if you want an AP, once you are on property you can upgrade the ticket you purchased through the package to an AP. If you do that first thing, you can still get the merchandise discounts.

None of us (DH, me, five kids under 10) have ever been to WDW. We are sooooo excited!!! (Can you tell?) Thanks for the help. We will upgrade when we get there.
