Also, is there any reason why I can't use the priority reservation system? Thanks in advance.

Each time, I was treated with the utmost respect, and I'd even say that at V&A's, I was treated even better than I was when dining there with my husband a few years prior.

Since Napa Rose is about the same tier as both V&A and the CG, I'd expect the same treatment there.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which restaurant is best for character breakfasts when eating solo? I was thinking Goofy's Kitchen & PCH grill?

Depending on how much interaction you want, I'd actually suggest Storyteller's Cafe. I think they have the best food, and the character interaction is much more tame than at the other locations.

In the past, she's called to make a PS for one, told there were none available, then called a few minutes later and asked for a PS for two and gotten it. Of course, there have been times we've called for a PS at both parks and told there was nothing available and then found there were lots of tables available for walk-ins, too. I guess the important point here is not to assume that if you can't get a PS that there's absolutely no seats at the restaurant where you want to eat.

thanks for your valueable info, as I think I will enjoy 'storytellers cafe' better. I especially love chip 'n' dale as a posed to Lilo & Stich ( I think they are at PCH grill breakfast).

Thanks for your advice about the Priority seating. I can rest a little bit more about my Disney dining now, as I was a bit worried how I was going to book PS from Australia. I like to see the restaurants first and pick on atmosphere and menu so I can enjoy the meal..

Thanks everyone! I will make a full report of my trip when I return.

The service seems more attentive when I dine alone. Maybe it has to do with servers not wanting to interupt people in conversation. But when you are alone they seem to come up and ask if everything is going well. I like to address them by their name if I do have a request and it sometimes feels like they are my private server.

The only problem I have is that, if there is no conversation, I resort to people watching while I am eating. Bringing reading materials or maps, etc. is always a good idea especially after the meal when coffee and desert are on the way.
