Particularly at twighlight when the lights come on.

I ALWAYS picture Plaza Inn when fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy is mentioned. It's burned in my mind permanently! Yet again, David, you've captured that wistfulness that Disneyland is for so many of us... those odd feelings bridging the gap between the past and the present... Thank You!

Special Times away from the days activities enjoying eachother and the surrounding sights and sounds only DL could create! I took my Grand Children, 5 and 4 to DL in March to start another generation of memories. My 5 year old Grand Daughter has Luekemia, it was a very special trip for her. With luck, once she is out of the hospital, we will resume building those fond memories Disneyland provides! Keep up the great work! Days of old stories are what most of us DL junkies crave. Of course I was always in a hurry to finish our meal and head back out into the park. I find myself often sitting at the Plaza Inn recalling those days of the Red Wagon Inn. Change is always good, but memories, that is what Disneyland is really made of for me. Thanks for stiring up a great one!

One correction, the building is Queen Anne, not Edwardian. I hear the Plaza Inn in hong hong is going to be like the chinese restaurant that Walt planned originally for main street, complete with Confucious.
