Anyone else tired of the 'studio' theme? << Well, I’m quite fond of the studio theme, and love Disney-MGM Studios, so for me that’s not a bad thing. But what about Toon Studios reminds you of that park? Anyway, the pics of the Cars area with the ToT looming in the background really got me excited. Looking forward to be visiting again, although I will most likely wait till everything opens in the beginning of 2008.

But to me it seems like Toon Studios consists of some original creations like the Cars area. I would understand your criticism more if it were aimed at the upcoming Hollywood Boulevard that will be very similar to areas of the parks you mention. By the way, does anyone know if there will be a new eating-place in Toon Studios?

Reason why I keep my fingers crossed if HKDLR ever sees another park built opposite the current DL park, since Hong Kong itsels has a very rich movie making history. >>The 'movie studio' theme is tedious to me.<< And it was ever worst by the way it was presented to guests at WDSP... very bland and quite short on theming.

Fraid not, there are no dining establishments planned for the park at this time as far as we are aware. It's a shame as we normally head to the Village for lunch on a Studios day. If there was a good and fun table service available in WDSP, I would say this will finally be a full day park next year. Sadly though, there is no such restaurant, and often of the four counter service restaurants, only one ever seems to be open.

It sure looked, and felt, like a wonderful, quality Disney theme park experience. For all the bitching here about THAT park, there isn't ONE place in DSP that exudes any of that sense of place ... and Toon Studios and ToT and some blue paint just ain't gonna do it.

There's always crowds, but a good half the locations are always locked tightly. <<Ya, but in DLP it is not the lack of demand, but poor management.>> You can say that about any aspect of the resort, Dave. Having two Florida rejects running the park, especially these two, is a recipe for disaster.

DCA is 10 times the park that WDSP is ... <<and Toon Studios and ToT and some blue paint just ain't gonna do it.>>> It has to start *somewhere* and the photos I saw look very nice. You are being a little hard, no? Give them some support. I still want to personally bitch-slap whomever was responsible for this place. It is awful. Anything they do is an improvement.
