    Thanks!

Dzy -- we did in in 2002, and I LOVED it. It was so nice having our food already paid for. And I'm such a cheapskate I really find myself making food decisions based on menu prices, and I didn't feel that way as much with the vouchers. We're big eaters (as anyone who's met me could guess, lol), so it wasn't a question of not eating enough to justify it. But, it was just ... well, relaxing, to know I had the food already taken care of during the trip.

We bought 3 days worth. That way we have a choice to eat in downtown disney, skip meals, etc. The vouchers are good at most of the outdoor carts as well, so you can use it for drinks, fruit, popcorn, etc. That works well for us. We tend to eat breakfast and one afternoon/ evening meal and some snacks.

Give them a $5 out of each book, and $2 cash. Dont take them out of the book until you are standing at the cash register. Oh, the character meal vouchers cover the tax and tip.

You might be able to get vouchers only through AAA. Not sure. We always book a package.

If you don't eat there as much, you might want to follow the above advice and buy less days than you'll be there. Like 3 days for a 4 day trip, etc. You might call WDTC about the book issue -- that's ridiculous if it's truly the case, and might change my mind about doing it this trip if I can't remove them and divide them between us.

I definately would only buy a few days worth as it is hard to imagine eating that much each day.

Are there vouchers for character meals? I really would like to do dinner at Goofy's kitchen one night. Think the boys would like it.

But we used them on our following trip in Dec. I think that they are usually good from Jan to Jan but not 100% on that.

But, when you buy the plan it comes with a book for each person. So, if your group was splitting up they could take their own book. Or you just arrange to meet for meals. We've never had a problem with it.

A three day plan comes with one character meal. More days have more character options. Best way to find out is go to the www.disneyland.com site. Put in dates for a trip, any dates. When it comes up with a hotel and park option offer, click on dinning plans. It will bring up a popup box with more details- price, options, fine print. See if this link works- its from the popup <a href="http://dlr.reservations.disney.go.com/DisneylandIBC/Descriptions/2006/disneydining.html" target="_blank">http://dlr.reservations.disney
