I work on Main Street USA and almost daily I hear the upbeat song from Disney's Dreams Come True Parade and it irks me that I can't find the song anywhere.

Since you're all Disney enthusiasts, would anyone here happen to know if there's a CD or an MP3 out of this song? I know a lot of us cast members would like it, but every time I check the Cinema or the Emporium there's no new CD with it on.

    Thanks!

I believe TDLFAN once commented that this same song was used for a parade or a show in Tokyo Disneyland a while back.

Japanese CD's work the same way as ours, so there is no need to worry about trying to find the right version. Hopefully TDLFAN or one of the other Tokyo regulars will see this and remember which parade it was.

Seems to me someone needs to take a trip to the far east and find out!!!

Ferret and Roger are partly correct on this one.. The song currently heard on the MK parade does hail from the current revamp version of TDL's "Disney Dreams on Parade: Moving on!". However, the slow tempo song you hear during the current Grand Marshall pre-show is the *original* version of TDL's 20th anniversary Disney Dreams on Parade from 2003, and *that* is the version that was sold on CD in Japan at that time. Both versions of the TDL songs now heard at the MK feature newly written lyrics especially for the MK, so for those of us Tokyo vets, the songs sound a bit odd since all references to TDL and the 20th anniversary were replaced with other lyrics that do not make much sense.

    >>Unfortunately I love this song too and have not been able to find it anywhere. I was hoping the 2007 CD would have it, but alas it does not<<

FYI.. the "Moving on!" soundtrack (aka the current MK parade upbeat song) will be released on CD at TDR and sold exclusively at the park, with a possible Japan-wide release later in the year... for what I have heard from my friends over there. However, it will be the TDL lyrics on it, not the MK ones.

Also.. musical portions from "Dream Along with Mickey" are also song that were exclusively written for TDL's 20th anniversary castle show "Gift of Dreams". So as you can see... not even the current parade/show music at the MK is original to this park. Thank TDL for that extra bit of magic at the MK.

Drat, I was just going to rip the audio from it, and yes I have the latest iTunes and Quicktime, so this is quite odd.

But the problem is I can't save it anywhere, and I can't edit it. I got out of trying to be a computer wizz years ago.

So, if anyone wants to do me a BIG favor, and knows how, could you try to convert the audio of the podcast into an Mp3 and email it to me? Its the same as my user name just @aol.com at the end.

Or, at least, explain it to me how to do it myself. I've been trying to hard to get this.

Oh, and the podcast won't play on my ipod because I don't have video on my ipod, sorry. =\

ps - you do not have an iPod that plays video? OR does iTunes tell you that you cannot play it on your video iPod because it is not the right format?

WOW!!! Listening to this single track, 40 mins long, parade soundtrack prominently featuring the song you guys now get to listen during the MK parade, is truly a revelation. You have royally been shortchanged in the MK version, as the TDL CD has all of the different versions of the song, written for the several parade portions that make up this rolling spectacle at TDL. Advertureland.. World Bazaar... etc etc, there is a different version of this song by land-specific in relation to the floats. GREAT CD to have..

So when will WDW put out their version on CD?

WOW! have you all been shortchanged at the MK!!! Majorly!!! No wonder the Witches of Morva are NOT impressed in the least!
