Being able to participate in a bit of Disney history was a fun experience. The original mouseketeers were troopers with the whirlwind three days they had at DLR this weekend!

It was picked up on sattelite this morning by stations around the country, but no future showings are planned. They told me to check the online fan sites such as LP for photos, but had no suggestion how to see the video. Let's hope Disney decides to release it in some manner.

I would guess it may show up on Cast TV some day in the future.

It isn't the whole show, but it shows a lot of great clips mixed in with footage from opening day and the original show. Lot's about Annette too!

    ENJOY!!!

Oh, and I think they should have at least invited as many of the '70s NMMC and '90s MMC 'teers that they could locate to attend this event. While it was an anniversary of the original show, it's still 50 Years of Mouseketeers.

Thanks for the overhead link. I was wondering how the logo in the center worked...

Anyone have any photos online of the event from the day before (Sunday) where the original Mice I believe were supposed to autograph Disney memorabilia?

That was such a fun experience; I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. I really don't think they had close to the 900 people they hoped for. I ended up right next to the "disk." It was so cool to see how they transformed the MMC silk into the other, 50th disk. The Mouseketeers were quite comical as they crawled underneath the center logo to be introduced.

About Lonnie, I chatted at length with some family and friends of Bobby, Sherry, and Doreen. The story I heard was that he had been there, but left "in a snit" because he didn't like how things were being done. (?)
