Most famous as the announcer of Laugh-In and the voice of Space Ghost.

And he was the narrator for World of Motion. A big reason why I loved that attraction

And I was almost going to write that he narrated 'Superstar Limo' but I'm feeling like it was a sound alike.

He also hosted several Disney cartoon specials such as this one about vacationing (called "Vacationing with Mickey and Friends" or something) and another about Goofy called "The Roots of Goofy".

In any case, rest in peace.

But when Laugh-In premiered, he would only have been 34. (And Ruth Buzzi only 32, Jo Ann Worley only 31...)

Maybe it was me being a kid, maybe it was because they often played older than they were (and Owens was intentionally made to look like an old-fashioned radio guy), but they always seemed older than their early 30's, even at the time.
