You have to fly out of Munich though, with a layover in Inchon, Korea. :O

(might be worth considering though...how much is airfare to Munich?)

But yep, with four airfares on one salary, I think it will be about 5 years before we go.

Sadly for you Dave in another 5 years a lot of new Studio parks are goiong to be opened up all over Asia, including a possible new Shanghai Disney Resort if speculation online is correct, so that be even less of a reason to visit, especially if the airfare doesn't drop!

In fact, our little clan over here has been hoarding our freeloader miles for quite some time, and we are considering using them to make that unattainable trip to Europe, attainable.

Of course, we've flown to hell and back (Boston, many times lol) to make that a possibility...but we're ALMOST there (none of us have that coveted 60,000 miles yet, but we're all very close now).

The US-based programs mostly have a rule that as long as you have at least some activity every 18 months or so (which could be as simple as donating 100 miles to charity if you otherwise can't earn any), your miles never expire.
