I think though, if you book on line, your rate might be better than if you call directly. And once you book it on line, at that special rate, they guarantee that rate. [ Although, I will check availability online first along with the price. ] What I have found with the different hotels is that "generally" I can get a better price by calling directly instead of the general reservation number or online. However, I always check the onlines prices just in case the direct hotel reservations quote me a higher dollar amount.
