His eyes just opened on Tuesday, and he is scooting around on his belly and starting to use his legs to stand. Incidently, we went back to Pennsylvania to visit the Amish family that had the 17 Chow puppies. All but two are gone, and the two remaining were already sold. But we didn't go there to reconsider getting one; we just went to visit the family. We've learned quite a lot about the Amish life; it's been very interesting getting to know this family, as opposed to learning about the Amish life secondhand, the way it is presented to tourists of that area. The highlight of our visit was riding to the dry-goods store in their horse buggy.
