You can also walk to "whitewater snacks" and get food and drinks to take to the pool (bring your room key to get in and out of the pool area).

Also check out the Disneyland web site for pictures of the pools -- they will give you a good idea.

When you check in to the GC they will give you a list of all events, and housekeeping will leave one in your room also.

    Enjoy! It's a beautiful place!

The edges are probably 3-4 ft getting deeper in the middle around the big slide. Our dd (then 4)couldn't go down it since you had to pass a swim test since you go down the slide with 2 people. The little slide was perfect for her. There are life jackets available to borrow and the slides do close early in the evening before pool closing time. The weather was already warm so I don't think the pools are heated. I know in the winter months the pools are heated. We'll be there Tuesday and it seems as if the weather through tuesday will be be sunny in the high 60s-low 70s. There's a probable chance of showers on Wednesday and showers on Thursday. Again, weather changes daily so we check everyday. There are lots of activities at GCH. Our kids loved the scavenger hunt and our niece enjoyed storytelling by the hearth. There's also opportunities for early entry into build-a bear and sephora as well as a brisk walk through DCA before opening. Have a great time.

If you go out the GC entrance into DCA, you'll walk right into the entrance of Soarin and will probably be able to walk right on. It worked for us every day...
