Originally Posted By RoadTrip Sounds fun! (and expensive). My daughter got married in Orlando, and chose Leu Gardens in Orlando for the Ceremony and then 'Ohana for her Reception and Dinner. It was WONDERFUL. With our DVC points we were able to give her and hubby a One Bedroom Villa at Old Key West for a week and others in the wedding party two nights at an OKW studio. It was a wonderful time. We offered her a more elaborate wedding, but she preferred that we give her the down-payment for a home she wanted to buy with her future husband. Considering the way real-estate dumped shortly after she got married, she might have been better off with the fancier wedding! Oh well...

The ceremony and reception took place on the terraces behind the Flame Tree looking towards Everest. The whole operation was first class and a credit to the planners and Disney. Food was great as was music, and we had a surprise visit from Jack Sparrow. Fun time.

I was just a guest so don't know how Disney handled everything but from my perspective, it was a pretty flawless experience. They had buses waiting for everyone after the ceremony to take them to the Boardwalk. Doobie.

We did not have the destination package as that was a bit too expensive though. The Disney staff was absolutely fabulous. We also did pictures in Epcot before opening which was really awesome. There are not many times you get to drive through Epcot in a van (yes through as in on the walk ways)!
