We are annual passholders and do not come often during summer due to crowds but my kids still love it when it's busy and for that price, well, it's pretty darn good. Any reason why the rates are lower at that time? Rest of month and through August most are closer to $300 and above. Also, any ways to improve chances of getting renovated room at DLH. I requested it and all they could say is the request would be noted but not guaranteed. THANKS

The reservation agent couldn't explain it, but I noticed that June 3 starts the blackout dates for California AP holders, so I'm wondering if we booked our reservations just before the summer madness begins. I was also able to reserve a World of Color dinner package on the 30th (availability all night), which was unexpected. Keep your fingers crossed for a less-than-busy summer visit (I know we are)!
