I believe we started off the day with a ride on Pirates, then again because the line was so short. We'd been on it 6 times by then and I could have gone again but the rest of the cast was a little burned out on Pirates. Fooey on them! So we went in Pieces of 8 and bought myself, DH and both DS's new pirate shirts! On our way out, we ran into the "Time Keeper" pirate. Apparently he had been entertaining the rest of our group while we were shopping. He attempted to get the gold earrings from my mom's ears...she had a good laugh! He also went into the store with my mom and told her that all the pirate stuff in there was fake and did she know that there were mice all over the store (Mickey)? He joked with the kids and told them he was learning his ABC's and he learns one letter a month. We got quite a few photos with him. He was alot of fun! We puttered around Critter Country, did Splash again and the Pooh ride. Then we headed to Tom Sawyer's Island. I remember going there when I was kid and I don't think I've been back since then! All our kids had fun crawling through the tunnels. It's actually pretty over there, with all the greenery and flowering bushes.....lots of good photo opps! We went to lunch at the mexican restaurant in Frontierland. I split the burrito with someone. It was good, but the red sauce is a bit spicy. I can handle some spice but this was on the verge of being too much. Luckily, we'd packed in PB&J's for the kids so they didn't have to fuss about it being too spicy. I also bought a bag of those tortilla chips with cinnamon and sugar on them that were for sale at the cash register. OMG they were sooooo good!!!!!! And addicting, unfortunately. Later in the day, I had to buy another bag over in CA!!!! So after lunch, the kids all hit the shooting range in Frontierland. By then, everyone was ready to leave DL and head to finish up CA. So off we went to CA. We did rides over in CA. DS got to ride CA Screaming for the first time and loved it!!! He wasn't tall enough before and this time he just missed it by a hair, so with the help of some napkins in his shoes, he made the height requirement! (shhhh, don't tell!!) We hit Grizzly River run and it felt great because it was warm again. This time I didn't mind getting wet! The little kids did the Brother Bear play area while the rest did Soaring over CA. (that one makes me nauseous) By then it was time to get a spot for Block Party Bash. I thought I had picked a great spot to sit. We were in the Red Zone by the Sunshine Plaza. Our spot was right near the end of the taped off zone over by the rock structure that makes part of Grizzly River Run. I sat there with DS on a blanket and we took off our shoes & socks. You wouldn't believe how much of a refresher that is! By the time everyone else got back to our spot, we were ready to go again. So the BPB starts and the parade stops before it gets to the end of the zone. So right in front of us was the trampoline that the dancers are jumping on. We did have a great view of them. However, my only beef was that not one of the characters even came close to us! We were in near the Toy Story float with Jessie and she never even got within 20 feet of us. That was disappointing. A better spot to sit would have been over in front of those train cars that make up the bakery and ice cream shop. Oh well, live and learn. After that was over, we dashed back over to DL to catch the parade (this time we're watching it and not trying to sneak into it!!). We stake out a spot in front of the photo shop on Main St. That turned out to be a great spot!! The floats stopped there and we had alot of character interaction. The park closed at 8 pm that day, we we left after that. DH took the boys back to the room while I shopped in World of Disney. Wow, that place was PACKED!!! I managed to pay for my stuff and get back to the room to start packing up our stuff. :-( Day 5: Wed, Sept. 27 We have reservations at Goofy's Kitchen this morning for 10:20 am. So we spend most of the morning getting packed. When we got to Goofy's the place was packed. But by the time we got food and sat down to eat, the place started to clear out. By the time our meal was finished, we were just about the only people in there. So as a result of that, we had some awesome times with the characters!!!!! Mad Hatter stayed and visited with us for a long time. We had long visits from Chip, Goofy, Pluto too. It was a great time for a reservation!! When we were stuffed full, it was back to the room to load up our bags and get going. (we asked for late check-out at noon) My SIL and her BF went back into the park since they didn't have to be back at the airport until 4 pm. So they got to see the new flower decoration at the front by the main gate. It was boarded off when we had been in the day before. So the rest of us loaded up the cars and settled in for the 5 hour ride home. We were all really sad to go and can't wait to get back again!!!!! ********************************** Here is a quick re-cap of some hits & misses on our trip: Hit-I took the advice of another poster here and gave each of my boys $5.00 a day to spend. LOVE LOVE LOVE that!!!! It made me spend less on them because I knew they had their own $$ to spend and they had to really think about a potential purchase, if they really wanted it or was it an impulse buy. I will definitely do that one again next time we go. Hit-The boys and my niece & nephew also got Tink Toys each morning when they woke up. They were always excited to see what Tinkerbell had left them. Hit-We visited with some of the best CM's ever. Each one of them were so nice, friendly and funny. I forgot to mention the funniest one of all, Rick over on the canoes. He was a crack-up. Hit-I am soooo glad we took our stroller. It is a long walk out of the park back to the hotel. Only thing I wish is that we had a double stroller so the 7 yr old could ride too! Hit-Fantasmic and the Fireworks show. Both unbelievable and wouldn't miss them for the world!!!!! Miss - uh....the wrapper in my SIL's BBQ wrap at the Rainforest. Miss - the spot we picked to watch the Block Party Bash in CA Miss - SIL's boyfriend's panic attack on Star Tours!!! Someone get that boy some Dramamine! lol I think that's about it. I can't think of anything else I wanted to be sure and tell you guys. Of course, if I do, you know I'll be sure and post it!

We're there for 3 days mid-October. Thanks again for taking the time to paint a vision of your magic vacation!
