They do need to do majoy work to really make it the true icon it is. I am most definitely looking forward to the changes... Of course, given Disney's record of late... It would not surprise me if they removed all AA's and installed scrims and videos and make the ride yet another TV attraction like Nemo and Gran Fiesta.

Originally Posted By TDLFAN >>I'll be happy just for some sprucing up with what's there<< NO! UNACCEPTABLE!! The ride needs major rework, both technically and in execution. I want the AAs to stay but major work needs to be done to disguide the sets better abd make them look more authetic. They need to add more cutting edge special effects, upgrade AAs, cover up all of the technical stuff that is quite visible to the guests (like lighting above and empty spaces between sets, just to name a few! As it is right now, riding SE is like taking a walk inside Ikea... you just go from one set to the next with minimal execution or transition. I expect more from this and will slam it big time if they do not set some kind of standard with this redo or at least exceed my expectations to a certain degree.

I sure hope not. Does the argument sound familiar - it should - this is Carousel of progress on a larger scale... I think there are places they can add scenes - all for that - but really can;t think of a scene I'd like to see removed.
