But on this photo update you will see..(for the most part): -The very last performance of this year's "Minnie's Tiara of Dreams" parade. -New Nemo, Monsters Inc, Cinderella floats and some new costumes on Dreamlights Parade. -Newly refurbished facade areas of the park.. mostly Westerland, Adventureland (Orleans Square, POTC), Snow White Grotto, Castle (which looks the best it has ever looked!), and even Snow White adventure, which just reopened from rehab. -Construction photos from TDL Hotel, Monster's Inc Side and Seek, Space Mountain refurbishment. -Photos from several areas of the Park...and, -one of my favorite signs in the park at night: Peter Pan's Flight, where every other minute, Tinkerbell sprinkles Pixie Dust over it... in a magical fiber optic display that many people miss at TDL. I understand that the live performers and music, along with the movement of the parade helps, but those floats leave more than just a little to be desired. They all look virtually identical, and it's not like they look that great to begin with. They are all huge, boxy, and seem to lack much detail. But I guess in Japan they prefer to see the caracters and dancers over the actual floats. And it is just a short running parade (but they all seem to be in TDL), so at least it's changing. I guess I just don't appreciate the different style of parades there, at least not with just a still camera.

This is a limited time parade.. so why should they have the need to go overboard? Yet, this parade features a brand new soundtrack, new costumes and even new floats.. which, for a limited time parade, the budget would be cost prohibitive at other properties, like WDW for example. That and the fact that many of you are so quick to put special event entertainemt like this down, are the reasons why we get NOTHING special at our parks in the USA. Furthermore.. red blooded american men like yourself would not enjoy this. This is meant for the young kids and Princess-loving fan guests. I have no clue what you mean by parade styles of TDR because in my 3 and a half decades of enjoying parades at the Disney parks, I don't see differences in execution; but differences in themes, which I appreciate quite much.
