That's one of the things I liked about the CBR...cold water daily and milk for my Coco Puffs! Yeah, husband just said he won't stay in that cartoony room and my sister said it looks like a motel. We're looking into a few alternates up the food chain. So there you go. To each their own, I suppose but I think it is a bad execution of a good idea.

I figure Caribbean Beach will, now increase in price a few bucks for the Nemo rooms, and quite a bit for the Pirate suites. Oh, well, I used to like the Caribbean Beach.

I don't know why some things on Disney property cannot just have a theme all their own and not have to be completely tied in to a movie. Sure sell the corresponding merchandise in the gift shop at the resort but don't retool the theme and overall character of the place to reflect the movie. The resorts (with the exception of the values) always seemed like a destination unto themselves (Africa, Hawaii, hotel of the "future," Key West, Carribean, New Orleans) etc. True you have to buy into the fantasy for it to work but at least the basics were already in place. It has been fun to have a different flavor to our vacations by staying at different "destinations." This change makes me sad. It seems that if anything they are making a moderate into a value resort with the cartoon theme and the loss of the refrigerators. I wonder if the price will reflect that?

I love Nemo, don't get me wrong - but if I'm paying all of this money to travel there from Cali, I don't need to look at a bedspread for a week on end that looks like someone threw up on it. I also want a fridge with no extra charge. We are going to call reservations and see when exactly the Jamaica section is being renovated. We might change back to the POFQ.

It was impossible to tell if the room even HAD a theme, much less what it was supposed to be. Have any of the major critics here ever actually STAYED at the CBR?
