The last time my family saw the parade, almost every performer had the energy of a hound dog on a hot summer day - complete with droopy faces. The Christmas version is a nice overlay and changes the mood (for the better). Overall, the parade still needs something to give it a shot of energy. Even a subtle touch like the live drummers on the Tapestry of Nations parade would be a good addition. Also, the pace that the parade travels needs to be bumped up a notch or two. For a parade with an up-tempo soundtrack, it lags. Maybe Starbucks should be signed as a sponsor to the parade (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

It was such a cool experience! BTW, we were "chosen" b/c my mother-in-law's aquatic aerobics' instructor's son (that's a mouthful) was a CM in the parade...so it was a pre-set thing...We told him when we'd be down to WDW and he reserved the spot for us. Although, I believe most ppl are chosen at random for the parade. That was the case for all the other families in the parade that day.

They (and their rotating drums)would be an incredible compliment to the AK parade.

Hopefully you will get another chance to see it..
