Why does DL close at 7 on Fridays in October?

    Gonna take a short trip to DL in October and I was a bit bummed to see the park closes at 7pm on every Friday. At least DCA is open until 11pm. So, what gives? Closing at 7pm EVERY Friday in October seems unusual to me.

    The DCA parties were great for kids. Smaller crowds than normal days.

    Not sure how it will be at Disneyland. For the first time the party includes a Halloween fireworks show. Disney might decide to sell more tickets making it more crowded.

    My suggestion - don't buy a ticket until it's seen that the day guests will be cleared from the park (after the first parties occur). Otherwise you might have a tough time seeing the fireworks - tho the ride lines should be short, as they'll probably check wristbands or something like that.

    Oh, and the reason I'd be concerned about clearing the day guests, is that the party guests can enter DL 3 hours before the party starts. So there will be a mixed group for a while, making it harder than usual to clear the park.
