We're going to DL in Dec, staying for a week at Hojo, and we've decided to take 1 day during the week to go to the San Diego Zoo. We know about the drive.....I'm more wondering what time of day to go to the zoo. Is morning better vs early afternoon? I'd like to see animals that are actually awake if possible...I ususally get them napping..lol

Thanks in advance for any advice!
