Are they about the same? I love all the Disney prints in the rooms. I think it might make it feel alittle more Disney like! Thanks in advance!

We had to walk out the of the hotel and down the whole entrance to get to it and we did not like that. We also found that the tour busses picked up right there so you got the smell of diesel wafting over the pool area. However, it is a nice close walk to Disneyland but we would rather walk a little farther and stay at Hojos.

Well last time we stayed in the other tower, and the room wasn't as big or as nice. There was a McDonald's milkshake in the freezer when we checked in, and something unmentionable in the bathtub!!! We've never used the pool. Once when we stayed there we called for room service. They called us back about 20 minutes later and told us it was too busy and go get the food ourselves! We could have been to the restaurant and back by then. One positive about the Fairfield is that you are back from the street, where with some of the others along that road they are right on the street and can be noisy. I'm staying at HOJo's in a couple of weeks when I go. I've heard it's great. If you choose the Fairfield you can ask for a 1st or 2nd floor. My cousin always did and she always go it.

We have never used the pool either, but like was said before it is right next to the parking lot. If you are unlucky enough to get a room right by the pool, you will hear the kids screaming all day and late into the night. There is a Millies out in front which has excellent food and a Mc Donalds right next door. The price has gone up quite a bit in the last couple years so now we stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn which in our opinion is just as nice as the Fairfield Inn.

My DH who is a fire fighter was absolutely ballistic! While at the pool, another guest had her foot cut with glass when the maid broke the coffee pot, and another gentleman had to leave his window unlocked because his key wouldn't work in his lock properly - and they wouldn't move him. We also had a power outage for about 40 minutes (it was only the hotel) and nobody would explain anything to us. I wouldn't go back.

Standard hotel beds??? The pool area and entire property is definitely nicer than the Fairfield and the staff is outstanding but I don't know about the beds. Just do not get a room facing the freeway-too noisy! There is quite a few choices of rooms and there has been quite a bit written about them here. Their website, www.hojoanaheim.com provides layouts of the rooms and the property under "hotel information" which can be really helpful if you want to request a room.

Our room was clean, quiet and everything worked well. One room was a King with sofa bed, and the other was two queens. We had a connecting door. We didn't use the pool, but it is out front as the others described. There is also a Mimi's restaurant, where we enjoyed having lunch one day. We usually use the small frig and bring breakfast. Staying there again in April, but staying at the DLH in June and the Grand Californian in Sept.
