We entered the lobby early, because we truly enjoyed our drinks in the lobby the day before, and wanted to try another concoction. The Gin-ger Rogers cocktail knocked PB on her backside - so strong but so good.

To prove that class lives here at Carthay Circle, our party's name wasn't yelled out for all creation to cringe by, but instead, our assigned hostess actually looked for us to inform us that our table was ready. We were asked if we wanted to take the stairs or the elevator. We chose the stairs because we thought we might miss some of the view couped up in a box of steel.

As we rounded the stairway and first caught a glimpse of the dining room, my breath was taken away by how beautiful the restaurant truly is. It really puts Club 33 to shame (*ducks*).

Our hostess led us past some of the more private rooms- some occupied, some not, and took us towards the back of the restaurant. Previous told the day before about the skylight by our drink servant, we made it a point to look up as we walked to our table. B-E-A-utiful!!

We were finally laid to rest at a table that did not face the dining room, but instead faced the dessert station directly in front of us, and the chef's station slightly to the left of us. *GASP* There was Chef Andrew Sutton! In the flesh and just inches away from us. Suddenly we could smell all of the wonderful aromas of what was shortly going to be in my tummy.

Our waitress Jenn came over and told us a little about the restaurant and asked us if we'd like to start with an appetizer and / or drinks. The PBs ordered coke, lesmisfan ordered a Roy Rogers and I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink. Jenn asked if I knew yet what I would be interested in ordering so she could recommend a great wine pairing. Since I was probably going to get something with lamb, she brought me the most wonderful Melbec. So tasty!

Our appetizer was a house order of bread balls stuffed with a variety of cheese and jalapeno with a pear butter dip. O M G!

We were watching Chef Andrew kind of pull a Gordon Ramsey on one of the dessert chefs, and it was quite comical. I didn't know that really happened in real life. He caught me looking and all I could do was smile and raise my wine glass. Holy crap....he walked over to our table!! We had a brief conversation about the restaurant and how he needs a well oiled machine... I was so excited I bet I turned a brilliant shade of red.

Anyway, we placed our orders and minutes later were served some other table's food. So sad that all of that dreamy looking food had to be spoiled. It must of cost a bit, too.

We did eventually get our orders - Lesmisfan and me had the Cavatelli Pasta with Tuscan style Braised Lamb, PB had Pappardelle Pasta with house made chicken meatballs and MrPB had Grilled Lamb Rolitini. Everything was exceptional except for the slight bit of membrane on a few parts of my lamb pieces. Nothing that detered from the taste, though.

Jenn let us know that since we've already ordered an appetizer, we would just need to order three more desserts to get the WOC fastpasses in the priority section. We were already invested deep in our meal so we thought "What the heck!".

We placed our dessert order, and we got yet another treat.....Chef Andrew personally brought our table a complimentary appetizer of Signature Fire Cracker Duck Wings. I'm not quite sure why we were granted such a special visit, but I had to hold back my tears of joy. I have never gone to Napa Rose because I'm not that fancy of an eater, but I've admired Chef's awards and menus for years. This truly made me happy (and I felt a little special LOL).

The wings were very HOT!! I couldn't even eat one. But I pretended to and had PB put a bone on my plate haha!

The dessert arrived (one order of Peach Canoli with grilled peaches and a respberry puree and three orders of a simple scoop of chocolate chunk ice cream.) The name of the ice cream is very misleading as this was served in an almond brittle bowl and brownie croutons on the side. Heavenly!

After our meal, Chef Andrew said he would be glad to take a photo with us. He asked one of his servers to take the picture, and he himself even picked the location. It's a picture I will treasure forever.

In all of our excitement we must have forgot to ask for our WOC fastpasses, and we realized it hours later. When we returned to the restaurant, our hostess not only remembered us, but rectified our error immediately. Needless to say, I will be having drinks here often and this is now my most favorite place to dine.

What are YOU waiting for? ;)
