But wait. Could it also be that the D-land Tiki Room will be invaded by Iago and Zazu, in turn? That cannot ever happen. Everyone over here seems to love our Tiki Room just the way it is, thank you very much. We need to keep it a beautiful, entertaining, relaxing place, and we don't want D-land to be even more shortchanged.

I'm "over here" and I personally think that the Tiki shows in California and Florida are a waste of space. I haven't found DL's Tiki Room show to be entertaining ever.

I completely agree. They're going back to the old show(or an abridged version, I should say) but I doubt it'll do anything for the show's popularity long term.

I think it's time to completely rethink how the Tiki room is utilized.

Jose, Fritz, Michael and Pierre are Disney characters.

I told her it's one of things you do while at Disney is to collect the red feathers after a show in the Tiki Room. Unfortunately Disney doesn't do the red feathers anymore. Must have been one of the cutbacks.

ORWEN: Yeah, that's when they told us the Tiki Room wasn't all that popular in Florida and that if guest visits didn't increase, the Tiki Room might go away for good.

ORDDU: Then they decided upon the idea of updating the show with 'new management'. That was a failure, in our humble opinions. So we think it's time to create a whole new show and give someone else the bird...

And just how shortchanged is DL? As far as the American parks go, I thought they had all the good stuff.

I'd rather see it moved to the Polynesian, but yea, that would work as well.

It really is a terrible show, i was scratching my head why they didnt remove the tiki room over the CBJ?? The only reason i see a show is a) i am tired or b) i bought a dolewhip and the doors have opened. Dont even get me started on the boring dated videos of pinapples and Hawaii they show.

I seem to recall that was the original idea for the Tiki Room.

I'd agree IF they weren't popular (the attraction pulls in good numbers in Anaheim, not so good in O-Town) and IF they had something better.
