And that song was infectious. I'd consider buying a CD if they included it.

The balloon floats were wonderful! I have photos of Sorceror's Apprentice Mickey, a Carmen Miranda-like Minnie, Donald Duck, Pluto, Goofy, Roger Rabbit, and a Court Jester, and a live Ariel is atop a giant fish. And, yes, confetti was everywhere!

I, too, would love to have the music on a CD.

I remember they couldn't run the Skyway because the gondolas would come too close to the floats.

I have quite a few of those purple coins (I used to get mine from the Extremely Secret Loyal Royal Order of the Aardvarks-- I knew the secret hand signal!). I also took a lot of photos, but no video. Yes, there's a lot of videos out there on the 'net.

I was always hopeful they would put Disneyland past parade music on the Disneyland Forever CD kiosks. I would have gotten this one in a heartbeat!

I was looking through the 35th Anniversary Celebration media kit and it's full of Party Gras images - our pal Kevin Kidney sculpted some of the maquette work for the parade floats - it was the first parade he worked on.

I still have my ESLROotA membership card :).

disneylandfan8 - keep an eye on your mail box - it's a 9.5MB file but it's really clean - I listened to it on my way in to work today and was dancin' the cha-cha in the fast lane :).

Yes, it was armadillos. Or, as Kimber pointed out, the The Extremely Secret Eternal Fraternal Order of Armadillos. I didn't have time to dig my card out-- I do still have it!

Just let me know if you'd like the Party Gras soundtrack file and I'll attach it to the answer. I'm a Disneyland music fan and have about 450 tracks of all sorts of stuff :).
