I dont think it matters much locally but maybe it can draw a little more international tourists in who have all heard the park is too small and too cloned with C ticket affair to give it a chance. But agree with others about TSL, the poster just makes it look MORE tacky! I dont know what the hell they are thinking throwing this in Paris AND Hong Kong?? Disney has always been pretty good with kid areas in the past, but now its all Six Flaggs affair lately with these areas. And yeah, if they could figure out a way in their half a billion dollar budget just include a nice C or D ticket dark ride like TSM or something new would make a world of difference for this place. It seems like a no-brainer, honestly!

These people are paid a lot of money, is this really the only idea they can think of or is the budget simply that small, geez! We both saw that WOC presentation, c'mon Disney you obviously can do a hell of a job when you put effort into it, I thought we were finally behind the cheap layovers and quick fixes for these parks??

I am most definitely looking forward to the Expedition Everest train ride---- CAN'T WAIT since I know it will come out far better than the one at Animal Kingdom. Hello Haunted Mansion!!! I will be seeing you too buddy.

I was just drawing a loose parallel where we board an outdoors train and meet up with a full blown star of the show---- a grizzly AA(instead of Yeti). But looking more closely I see multiple Grizzlies in a more playful and anthropomorphic context unlike EE. Big Thunder Mnt is a better comparison based on on the artwork.

Originally Posted By barboy ///Based on the artwork, Expedition Everest is the better comparison/// On my second and more thorough look of the artwork I just don't agree. 1 MOOD...Everest intends to be foreboding and serious whereas the grizzly coaster's mood will be light hearted, welcoming, anthropomorphic and playful with an element or two of suspense: (A) Look at the faces of the riders---all 6 riders that we see are smiling. 4 out of the 6 have their hands in the air expressing happiness/joy/excitement. (B) There is a Grizzly cub poking out of what looks to be a mining car. Clearly this is for the cuteness factor to play on our softer emotions. (C) A 'clumsy' adult grizzly accidently sits on the manual track switching lever sending the train the wrong or different way to a broken up track caused by dynamite mining(Now that part has Everest written all over it) while 3 more bears look on--- two of which have that ticked off look. 2 TRACK LAYOUT...Grizzly Trail looks like it covers more terrain in the tradition of Big Thunder Mnt in WDW, just more spread out(or the feeling of being spread out at least) hence they call it 'trail' as if there is more horizontal track than vertical. The thrust of Everest is the feeling of vertical travel in and around Mt. Everest. 3 AA ENCOUNTERS... Everest has but one Yeti and riders get one full sight encounter. On Grizzly trail we will meet up with a few bears all with different personalities and predispositions. 4 SETTING... I'm thinking Grizzly Trail is either set in Wyoming or California, or it could be set in generic US western mountain ranges. Bryce canyon(Big Thunder's spiritual home) is so much closer to the western mountain theme than to the icy Himalayas. And both Grizzly and Thunder subject the guest to perilous mining environments. 5 RIDE VEHICLE/TRAIN... Look at that grizzly train--- it's a 'spittin' image of Big Thunder Mnt's. I just better not hear "hold on to them hats and glasses 'cause this here is the wildest ride in the wilderness" when I get some in the near future.

Disney just doesn't do things like that. Can you just imagine if Disney ever put up a park themed to California inside California--- it would just scream of absurdity!

The way that that half pipe is situated I'm thinking 1 car per ride cycle(unless it will be a twin track--- but the art doesn't show two). Hmmmmmm I see waits.

EE mixed with BTMRR mixed with GRR mixed with the never-built Geyser Mountain. I am betting that's exactly what it will feel like when it opens.
