    Grad Night runs 11:30 pm - 6:30 am on the following dates: May 20, 27, June 3, 10, 16, 17, 24.

So, yes, they will most likely close Disneyland early. Also, they're having what they call "Blast Off" from 9:30pm - 11pm in DCA. So, thanks, Disney Powers that Be, for now messing with both parks. ;)

Seeing as I'll be down there for two of those days, we'll see how it goes. At least we're getting the five for the price of three tickets (only online!), and we'll be able to run around during the day before they close. My guess is that Disneyland will close for the general public no later then 10 pm on those nights, to clear everyone out, and then pour them in from DCA and elsewhere in the loading zones. Gah. I'm guessing DCA will close no later than 8 pm on those nights, too.

I know where to find it, because I've spent time sorting it out, but the average visitor I don't think spends the time to look this stuff up, and folks from out of state may or may not know this Grad Night thing even exists. It's not listed anywhere obvious, and it's not listed as a special event, which sort of blows my mind, but hey, it's their park, they'll do what they like. ;)

Some kids have never been there and for a pretty low fee, they can go and have the whole park all to themselves for the night/early morning. It's a safe alternative for most of them. I'm greatful that my DD is going to go to it. Her gradnight at DL is on the 16th.

I'd rather have gone during the day, and not had to wear a dress and HEELS to get in. Wandering the park after being up all day for graduation wound up with me pulling more than 24 hours without sleep. By the end, it really wasn't fun anymore.

I agree, it's great for the kids to get the chance to go at reduced ticket prices - and, having just found the dress code, they have blessedly given up on making everyone dress up. No more shirts and ties, no more required dresses and heels - unless your school requires them.

Also, DL packages should always be kept up to date with such things as well for the people who are looking into going to DL for thier vacation.
