As for hours if Disney is posting shorter hours that means they are expecting lighter crowds which is great for you, less lines, and people to move around. When we went Oct.31-Nov.4 it was short hours, but the park was so uncrowded it more than made up for it. Plus YOU GET TO GO TO DISNEYLAND!!!!

I didn't get to check out anything in the Indy que at all... I just raced on by.

Take the evenings to enjoy the entertainment Downtown Disney has to offer, enjoy the pool/spa at your hotel, explore the DLR hotel grounds, have a leisurely dinner somewhere nice, sit in the lobby at the GCH... order a drink and listen to the pianist, catch a movie at AMC Downtown Disney. Get to bed at an early hour so you're fresh for the next morning.
