I made a reservation guaranteeing (2) "non-smoking" rooms due to health reasons and when we arrived the rooms wreaked of smoke. They said they could not accomodate us in any other rooms. At 1:00 a.m. in the morning (thereabouts) we were driving through Anaheim looking for another hotel.

Luckily, hehehe...we ended up at the Disneyland Hotel that trip!

But over all our stay wasn't that terrible.
It is really close to the entrance that is a plus.

I have 7 in my family and the choices are very limited for rooms that will accommadate that many, most places require you to book 2 rooms which doubles the cost. No where you stay is going to get a perfect review from everyone, but I found it to be a perfect spot for my family. The walk is gteat!!!! I would rather do my walking in the park, not coming and going to my hotel.

We are, for a very good reason. Most of us * nay sayers* have been going to Disneyland and posting on these boards for years.

Many years ago when I was returning to Disneyland, I learnt so much about Disneyland and the area just from reading this board. If I can now help someone (with the limited amount that I do know) then I am happy.

The experiences we have had there are horrible, if we can warn somone against staying here then good. I do realze that somepeople like this place and have never had a problem which is great :)

We are frequent travelers to Dland and have stayed at many hotels and motels..... the Carousel Inn was a very clean and pleasant place to stay. The suite price was also very good. But with just the 2 of us, we are regular customers to the Anaheim Plaza....
