    What a shame. He was young and died of cancer.

    Even though I'm too young to have seen his movies in the theater, Corcoran was a mainstay in my house. Old Yeller, Swiss Family Robinson, Toby Tyler (one of my mom's favorites), Pollyana, it just goes on and on.

    I also watched a ton of his movies when I was growing up; being the younger sibling, I immediately gravitate toward his characters. My parents always remembered him fondly as Moochie, so he's definitely one of those actors who had a multi-generational impact
