I think it was definitely a good read, but it was also a major milestone for the comics industry. Not sure how it'll work as a movie, but it does look cool.

I saw it with The Dark Knight, and I was just blown away. Apart from a few of the character appearances, I've been trying to keep myself unspoiled on this film (even though I've read the book many times), and I'm glad I did. (Although I did accidentally get spoiled on the look of Dr. Manhattan a couple of days ago. Someone posted it on a blog I read over on LiveJournal, & I saw it while looking over my Friends list.) I can't wait until next March!

But when the Nite Owl hovership floated up out of the East River, I thought I'd pass out. My expectations are sky high for this one. Please please please please please please let this not suck.
