Do I use EE on the thursday or Saturday.
Everyone tells me I need to go to Aladin, well is that the Aladin and Jasmine story tell adventure or the Disney Aladian musical in CA.
We are staying at the Best Western Anaheim Inn, is that a short distance to the parks?
Is downtown disney a short walk past the admission gate?
We are going to the park thurs and friday and then one more day, should we go on the Saturday or the Sunday?
Any comments would be great and any other tips we would be greatly appreciated. The kids are getting sooo excited!!! Me too!!!!

I would go on Thursday so I wouldn't have to get up as early. :p

<<Everyone tells me I need to go to Aladin, well is that the Aladin and Jasmine story tell adventure or the Disney Aladian musical in CA.>>

The musical in DCA. But it's conceivable your three year old might be scared in some parts of the Aladdin musical.

<<We are staying at the Best Western Anaheim Inn, is that a short distance to the parks?>>

It's right across the street from one of the entrances to DLR.

<<Is downtown disney a short walk past the admission gate?>>

A hundred yards or so, but in the opposite direction from you hotel.

<<We are going to the park thurs and friday and then one more day, should we go on the Saturday or the Sunday?>>

No difference, IMO, but what is your plan for the free day?

We've always found the Saturday EE to be less crowded (there are fewer crazies like us willing to get up at the crack of dawn LOL) Sometimes the weekday ones seem just as crowded as regular opening and then you don't gain much.

I agree with previous post that Aladdin (DCA) can be a little scary. I would take the kids to see Playhouse Disney in DCA for their first show. Its lots of fun and no fright factor whatsoever. If they do okay, then take them to one of the 3D shows. If that goes okay you definitely should not miss Aladdin. I've seen kids get scared when they close the doors and its dark, also the giant snake is larger than life. Most kids do just fine though.

Same with the rides, start small and work your way up if your kids are fearful. Adventures of Pooh and small world are good introductions to dark rides. Try Gadgets Go Coaster before Matterhorn. ETC ETC. I've known people with daredevil kids who just loose it at DL because there is sensory overload.

Afternoons are good for downtime, whether that is a break at the hotel or a show. If they need to run off steam Tom Sawyers Island or Redwood Creek Challenge are great.

Have plenty of snacks or activities (doodle pads, bubbles) for waiting for the parades or fireworks.

If there are certain characters your kids have just got to see, there is a kiosk near the hub where you can get their times/locations. Character meals are great too.

Just go with the flow and have fun!
