Even though the AA in liberal arts is not under my major i can hopefully get a job with the school district out here in chino. which will allow me to focus on my theatre major and finally participate in some plays. i have yet to do any since Les Mis, the teen show i did last summer, ended.

tsk tsk -- Z factors, null hypothesis etc. all important things.

for me I was finishing my first masters ( MBA in QM )- and I 'saved' stats for the end because it scared the devil out of me. I was in the class with mostly college students who were going straight thru for their masters, and many were business undergrads -- and here was me -- a liberal arts undergrad and had been out of college for 17 years at the time. The last pure math class I had taken was over 20 years before this stats class.....

I had a teacher who had been teaching stats for almost 30 years and she told me she taught in small sections and that if I worked hard I would get it and get an A -- ( I had a 3.92 GPA at the time and wanted to keep it)-

She was right -- she was the best prof I had in all of grad school and i can do stats with my eyes closed to this day ---

enough about me -- lemisfan - congrats on your accomplishment and go after whatever you want in the future...I hope the AA gets you moved ahead...great job !

Of course, if you show me a quadratic equation now I wouldn't have a clue!

Use it or lose it, my friend!!!

    That's great, lesmisman! Congratulations!

The older I get, the more I discover that the things we dread and avoid almost always end up being not as bad as we thought they were going to be.

Even though this wasn't easy for you, you DID it! I hope you feel good about that and I hope it'll give you confidence when facing future challenges.
