Disney does offer a Calvacade on the days that the Parade is not offered. This is bascially what is offered when a parade is rained out. Just a few of the Main Street Vehicles and some characters riding them. Something to watch, but only lasts about 5 minutes.

Four days off is nothing, and I think it is an amazing thing to complain about.
