Personally I always make 3 stockings every year 2 for my girls 1 for my mom, this year I decided that my husband should get one too.
Though I have not started the stockings, I am almost done with the big items.
My kids are done, my nice is finished, my sister/her husband, my husband are finished. I just have my nephew who is hard he is only 9 months old and I am stuck, and my mom which I want to buy her a nice throw.

I am on a very limited budget this year, due to not having a job for a while there, and so I am glad to have the big items done, and now I just have to work on the stockings.

Usually I buy my stocking items, with my fathers gift cards, but this year I really would like to take my daughters to the princess ice show so I am hoping to save those gift cards to buy food, so that I can afford to buy the tickets to the ice show ( I want nice seats) so its crunch time for me.

Oh and for the way I do my christmas shopping. I start in October and buy 1 christmas gift each week for both of my girls and 1 gift for 1 guy (I live with 15) each week, and then on black friday I spend 150 dollars on all of the big gifts that I couldn't justify for.
Example: my daughter wanted the barbies that look like princess that they have at target for 60 dollars I bought that on black friday for 40.

So tell me what you usually do.

However, I am taking them up to their dad's the day after Christmas, so they won't get a lot this year, since I need the $$ to make it up to the Bay Area. They'll get a couple of things, but not a lot. Family usually get a framed picture of the girls.

He's one of those jerks who has all that he needs, so he MAY just get an Outback gift card since I know he digs their food.

I am sorry but I grew up with the holiday windows specially themed and decorated every year with a huge walk-thru village to explore before seeing Santa. And a special German marionette show offered. It was CLASSY and I am so thankful for having that childhood. Bah humbug

I do stockings for those who are here Christmas morning. I LOVE stockings :) I know what little items each person likes and get to be creative with some of the things.

Then each person/couple gets a couple of things under the tree. The "kids" are being very practical this year which makes it nice and easy :) One family wants an "IOU" for their Disneyland trip in the Spring so I'll wrap up an IOU in a cute Disney themed box :)

I plan to do as much online shopping as possible :)

I LOVE to shop, whether I am buying or not. Retail therapy works for me :)

I know what I want to get the older boys and I think I know what to get Dad and roomy wants tickets or help with tickets to the Fiesta Bowl (assuming OU beats Nebraska this weekend). But I have no idea what to get the little kids and my mom.

I have created them, but I was waiting to get pictures of the kiddos and get the Christmas cards ordered at the same time.

I also did all my MIL's shopping since she is not up to it this year, and I also did Grandma's shopping for my family.

I'm trying to get done so I can sit back and relax and just enjoy the Christmas season this year instead of running around trying to get everything done in December and feeling rushed and stressed.

It's all Mollysmom's fault. I think she put some sort of a magic spell on me to lure me to the dark side. ;)

I need to pick up slippers for my mom, and sweetarts and she is done, which leaves just my husband. I need to spend about 20 more on his stocking items and I will be done. Too bad this christmas is such a tight budget.
