Ya know, for the longest time I really disliked Vertigo. Then someone told me that it was the kind of movie you had to watch twice to really get. So I reluctantly sat down to watch it again, and thoroughly enjoyed it--I was just enthralled. I've actually seen it lots of times since then, and love it a little more each time.
