Having to wear a heavy cast makes it harder. Are you staying close? Able to go back to the hotel and take a break?

My mom bought some kind of blow up cast cover, from cvs pharmacy, and it worked like a charm. Though it was hot wearing it, she was able to swim in the pool, and go on all of the water rides. For rides and stuff she was fine. Our biggest problem was the buses b/c she was technically not handicapped but was unable to hold on so needed a seat.

This is a big relief to us, for both the wet and the weight factors, but I admit to being nervous about some of the jerkier rides. Were still a week out, so I guess we'll play it by ear, We are staying across the street, so we'll have rest nearby.
