We are really excited to try out this hotel. Thanks for all the info LPers!

That man does go above and beyond his job duties. (And I think Darkbeer should get a small kick back-lol! If it wasn't for all his posts regarding HoJos, we never would have tried it years ago!) Last time we had the Home Office with the Disney view, this time the home office was taken but we still got the Disney View-yippie! This is important to us because my kids are "chicken" and we always end up watching the fireworks from the hotel-lol. What a difference it makes to have both kids sleeping and go out on the balcony to watch the fireworks. Nice! I still am determined to try and get them to watch but at least I'll know the balcony is there-lol.

Just in case you didn't already know, the balcony is great, nice and big but doesn't have any furniture at all. I made DH bring out the hotel chair for me but this time I am packing one of those comfy fold up ones so he doesn't have to keep bringing it in and out. I hope you end up liking the HoJo as much as we do! You can be sure that you will have a nice, clean room. It is reliable, everything will work, the TV won't be 40 years old-lol even if you have to walk a tiny bit further. Don't forget your swimsuits because the pool is really nice (and really heated) unlike so many pools there. My kids loved the splash part and they didn't turn blue from the cold. We could not get in the Disneyland Hotel pool last time we stayed there it was so cold. It was totally packed so we figured it must be warm enough. I don't know how they could get in. Some did say they were cold and the hot tub part had about 40 people squished in-lol. And don't even ask about the "balcony" at the Paradise Pier-only 4 INCHES wide-you couldn't step out at all! Just could stick your face out and it was such a shame because we had a view of the park too. Anyway, enjoy your trip and if you see me sitting on the balcony, wave hello!
