DH had to ruin the moment by ordering a churro.

It is so good. We have grits, several kinds of rolls and fresh fruit.

Then we head over to my mil's house for brunch of potato salad, homemade bread rolls, saltfish, and souse. Saltfish, not sure how to describe what this is. It's a salted fish, I can't even tell you what kind. Like so coated in salt it probably doesn't need refrigeration. I am pretty sure you soak it or something before you cook it. Souse is a pork dish that is very yummy.....well when my mil makes it anyway.

I've got a hashbrown casserole recipe that sounds tasty. I might add sausage or something. I really like having a nice breakfast for Xmas but I don't want to do a lot of cooking.
