Is Riverside Seating worth the money? What are the snacks at the Riverside? Which of the two is more kid friendly (children ages 7 and 6)

There was cookies that were very yummy they had a purple like white chocolate on the bottom of them and they were jelly filled in the middle. There were rice crispy treats another type of macroon cookie and chocolate covered strawberrys. They had soft drinks, hot coco, Coffee and water to drink. The service was wonderful.

We even got to stay and sit there during the fireworks. We would do it again. I thing that is was $56 for the adults and $46 for our son. We have never done the balcony so sorry I can not help with that one.

If you get the riverside seats be sure to check in early cause they seat you by who checks in first. We checked in while they were setting up and we were still second to check in. But we still had front row seats. But it really looked like all the seats would have been good cause they were staggered when we went. I hope you enjoy!

The balcony desserts include a few more items like cheesecake, but there is no discount for kids. Also, there are only two rows and seating is very tight.

I know that the desserts are boxed, but that's ok as long as their tasty! Any tips for this location?

Also, I see that DCA has an Electrical Parade VIP viewing, any ideas on that?

    Thanks!

Im not quite sure what you mean by the desserts being boxed but they were very good and you could go back as many times as you wanted to get a second or third helping. The chocolate covered Strawberrys were off the hook yummy. We would do it again with no questions!

This time I'll have all three kids and that would add up to a lot of $$ to do it. So guess I'll wait and see what my budget for spending ends up being as the trip gets closer. Thanks.
