Lucas doesn't have infinite patience to massage its relationship with Disney especially with his new movie being release so soon. Disney MUST start working harder or Star Wars fans will go elsewhere like right now.

BOY, Disney keeps messing up BIG TIME.

Star Wars has never been a Disney franchise and should be off the Disney parks, including the very outdated Star Tours. Ditto for the Muppets and the bear in the big blue house or whatever.

And what better company than Disney to bring them to life? (Although, I suppose Universal could have done a nice job with them, also.)
As for the original Star Tours, it STILL is one of my favorite simulator rides. I've been on most of the big budget ones except the ones in Vegas (I especially would like to see the Star Trek one which sounds outstanding!). It STILL is better than Back to the Future, Hanna Barbara, and the ones at Busch Gardens & Sea World. And light years ahead of the other parks like Six Flags or Paramount!
Besides, the original Star Wars trilogy was MUCH better than Episode I, IMO.

They only have the Celebrations every couple of years right before a movie release like the last one in Colorado before Episode 1... So I'm sure they'll have one next year... That is, also depending on how Disney handles there relationship with Lucas... I know that Lucas wants a new updated film or ride for Star Tours... Especially the one at DL (he wasn't happy with it last time he visited)... Disney really needs to update the ride or get a company to sponsor it... Otherwise Lucas could pull out & end his relationship with Disney... Which could lead to losing Indiana Jones too... I don't really think it will come to that though... & if it does then, Disney is more foolish than I thought...

WDW not having Star Wars Weekends will definately effect their numbers for May... 'Cause this event brings in lots of people from around the U.S. & the world to visit... & some of these people wouldn't have come to visit otherwise... I know alot of people that were planning on going to the "Celebration 2" May 3-5th & then were gonna go to WDW the following week & weekend for "Star Wars Weekends"... But now some are canceling their trips to WDW... It's really too bad for WDW, as it will effect their #'s for May...

It sounds to me as if Lucas isn't holding up their end of the bargain with Disney -- if they can afford to sponsor a big event in Indianapolis, how come they can't do better by their presence in the Disney parks? That same article mentioned how Episode One has made over $900 million; seems like Lucas could throw some of that money out Star Tours way instead of putting it all into moving to the Presidio and all that money spent not releasing the originals on DVD.
