I just don't think they get invited very often. As they say, Father's Day is similar to Mother's Day except the gifts are a lot cheaper. Oh well. You can't win them all.

Is Fathers day weekend the first weekend S Cal schools are out? We are done June 4 and some nor Cal schools go until the 13th so I thought that if this was the first weekend that school was out it could be busy. Also I think TSM was supposed to open in DCA around the 15th?

Originally Posted By lawdawg Well I just back from my first Fathers Day at DL. It wasn't too crowded. I would even say a light crowd for a Summer Sunday. Some of the highlights; Riding Midway Mania (IT ROCKS)!!! Walking through the standbuy enterance to Tower of Terror Finally getting unusually wet on Splash. It seemed to me the soak factor was high for my entire boat. One more thing. I bought my first pin today. I liken it to drinking alcohol for the first time. You start off small , but if you don't watch yourself it will get away from you.

Oh yes, "It be too late to alter course now, matey." And what's this I hear, two pins! Already you display signs of addiction...conveniently forgetting how many, uh, drinks you've had, to use your metaphor.

Yet another example of how DCA has some of the greatest attractions in both parks. Once they clean up the initial fouling-up of the layout of the place, Disney is going to have a real winner of a park on their hands if this attraction is any indication.

It is that last anchor in my life that I won't release.
