So any help on hotels would be great, I really dont want to spend over $250 for just one night. Then an additional parking at some of the hotels is like $40 -- too much for my Disney Store wages.

All decent places.

My only problem, between this and the Japanese Tea Garden, now I really want to visit Japan!

The Aquarium at Pier 39 is not the greatest thing in the world, I feel. The one in Monterey, on the other hand, is one of the best in the world. Also, by Maritime Park, you may mean the Hyde Street Pier. That is one thing you can do while at Fisherman's Wharf for the day. ALong with that, you can tour the USS Pampanito, which is a WWII submarine, which is very interesting, especially if you have boys. Also available to tour is the USS Jeremiah O'Brian, a Liberty Ship from WWII. There is also the Musee Mecanique, which is free, and has many penny arcade machines dating from about 1900. It is next to the submarine. There are two other museums at the wharf, next to Rainforest Cafe. One is the Wax Museum. It is a wax museum. I met the owner once. He seemed nice, I talked to him about closing Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park. He said "people just weren't going anymore." The other is the Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum. They are both kind of rip offs in my opinion. But they are quite crowded. While you are at Fisherman's Wharf, if you want to do toursity things, you might try riding a double decker bus for a tour of the city, or taking a tour of the bay. If you go to Muir Woods, and value your sanity, get there before 10AM. Parking is terrible otherwise. If you get there later, you may wish to look into a bus shuttle to the place that Marin County offers. If you have any other questions about SF travel, feel free to write me at jonvn@nadelberg.com.

The signs coming from 101 always say it's full (there is a lot with free bus service to Muir Woods next to the freeway), but when we get down there, someone is always leaving. In fact, I usually get a spot in the first little parking lot right next to the entrance. The aquarium at Pier 39 may not be the best in the world, but if you are in SF you are not in Monterey. I've been to both aquariums. The SF one is nice and I was actually quite impressed. It was much better than people made it out to be.

Rate is $199 + tax Is it worth it? I dont know why I am having such a hard time with this decision, just got done traveling around the US and picked Hotels every night out of the blue

When my MIL and family came over just before christmas there was 5 of them (may as well say 5 adults as the boys are getting to that age) they basically tried to get embassy suites everywhere because they were value and good.
