I was a CM at the MK during those years at WDW and honestly do not remember any of the parades traveling towards the hub. If there are exceptions, then I do not know about it.

They do often send out the parade incomplete if there's a problem with the cast or float. One time I saw the lights on Big Bad Wolf go out and he had to be walked up to the Emporium before they opened the line and took him backstage, quickly.

If you Cuunt one that move independent of other in their Unit the number would be 23. If You Count Each separate piece,even if they are towed together, the numberof floats is 36.
