I actually reuse them one at a time at home until they become too coffee soaked and then I have to go on to the next one. Not because I'm cheap, of course, but it just helps me to dream.

wahooskipper, is that what explains when and how you have to switch ropes/chains to redirect the guests and shorten the queue? I've always that would be difficult. Especially when it's the actual thing, not flat on paper, and with people in the way.

Add to that the veteran skippers who like to play tricks on the new guys and mess with the line so that people are zig-zagging all about until they end up back on the midway and it can be a real challenge.

From another park I worked at I kept the "sponsor" signs for one of the rollercoasters. That year the ride was sponsored by Mars/M&Ms and they had wooden signs that looked like the candy bar/packaging. When the season was over I procured them and had them in my dorm room for years.

I also had a sign that read, "Please remain seated until the ride comes to a complete and final stop" hanging in a strategic location in my room.

I have all the reciepts, maps, hotel maps, flyers and schedules, which I see are not unusual to keep. Also have my used coaster from Rose & Crown, which I still use, very carefully.

    Hey, that is weird.

Also an empty Liberty Square caramel corn container. And little bits of Mickey confetti from around the castle.

I also keep the shopping bags, unused Fastpass tickets, receipts, park maps (I will get two, one to use at the park and one to take home) and passports. I have refillable mugs from every moderate resort. When we get home and unpack, I always leave a few of these tidbits in my suitcase, so the next trip it's a little surprise waiting for me when I go to get my suitcase to pack again.
