I have a couple of phobias. I hate snakes with a vengance, I find it difficult to even look at a picture.

Also, I am not keen on heights. Going up a ladder makes me nervous. And when standing at the rim of the Grand Canyon or on a Cathedral roof - e.g. Sagradia Familia (Barcelona) or the top of the Eiffel Tower - oh mama, do I feel dizzy. I'm fine in glass elevators and roller coasters though.

I know deep in my heart that I would die of fright if I accidentally met up with one.

Though I don't fear turtlenecks, I don't particulary feel I am attractive wearing one.

I FEAR crustacians! I can't STAND their pointy little feet. They make my skin crawl. We used to have a fiddler crab in the aquarium who got out once. I was like a frightened woman standing on a chair because she saw a mouse. My husband had to find it before I would move. I did have to get over it for my son's hermit crabs. I can pick them up, but if they get a little pinchy, they go right back in the tank, quickly.

Then, the priceless shot: him running out with his hands full of them, screaming! The last ones to be rescued.

I must confess: (another thread, I know) I would leave them there.

So sorry about your rattler bite and water moccasins.....*shiver*.

"Such a sweet little succulent crab."

(having said all that....*gulp* I don't eat seafood. it freaks me out)

I dont like anything that moves fast...lol....Olympic runners etc...no , kidding, oh, you know what I mean !!

    Mice, Frogs , bugs etc.

The frog in our roonm at the AKL was enough to send me into the bathroom and standing on the toilet itself ...lol....not a great example for the kids there!

I know what you mean. I play it cool for the kids at Zoos and when they come on TV, but my god I want to scream and run away.

Funny thing is, I also eat food I don't like in front of the kids (like green bell peppers) so they don't pick up on Daddy's dislikes. But they don't seem to like them either.
