The DL Hotel should have been demolished and re-imagined. The architectural styles of the towers never really matched each other but their differences are even more glaring with the new blue color scheme. I just don't know what they're thinking. I just hope the new Tahitian Terrace inspired place is as tiki-cool as it can be.

About half of the buildings remained, in lightly disguised form, around the perimeter of the property. It was all once part of a broader theme the hotel got in the early 1970's called "Seaports of the Pacific". It was wildly unique and very fun for the time, but rather kitschy and a tad garish by 21st century standards.
